Stick to the status quo
Ever with the best. Indeed.
The 2010-kind of school is totally annoyingly surprising with the office of a new principal. From time to time teachers come to us with astonishing news of new school policies.
Now the school disallows printing of notes (or any other hefty sets of papers) through their printers “in conjunction of our school’s being Center of Excellence for Environmental Education”. I heard that if printing is necessary, we have to pay for them to be printed.
Is this some kind of stupid joke? Seriously, we have already paid to go to school through school fees. That, pays for all the school operations and resources they give us as students including the notes we get. And now they are charging us for our notes and stuffs?
I’m not being stingy and I’ll pay if necessary. But what is the logic and sense in doing this?
After all a school is supposed to do with a huge use of paper, paper and paper. Schools kill many trees. But that’s how schools have been operating for years, isn’t it? If the school is really crazy over saving the Earth, then the school might as well stop paper use absolutely. Give us ALL our homework on Google Apps. Let teachers mark our homework online. Oh wow you might as well get us tablets, no?
I mean seriously, we shouldn’t start on decreasing paper use to decrease our energy usage. It should be a resort after decreasing electricity use etc.
Might as well get us do our examinations on computers.
LOL Imagine paying for our exam papers to be printed.
Perhaps we can skip the exams with the excuse that we can’t pay up.
Come on and get real. =_=
